The Collins Legacy: Three Generations of Service

C.H. Collins Sr. & G. Esta Jacobs Collins
Lifelong educators who served as teachers, coaches, and administrators during school segregation and integration. Known for the motto: "When something seems impossible, I'll show you a trick."

Second Generation
As their first-born child, I carried their message forward as a teacher and counselor at both secondary and university levels, continuing the family tradition of nurturing the whole child while my siblings carried the same message into their service as minister, behavioral therapist, and librarian.

Third Generation & Beyond
My daughters have excelled in education and mentoring; service is our family's motto. Caring is our game. Several of their cousins have had also had a mind for service additional to military.

Fourth Generation
While this generation is carrying the service work, has earned a master's degree in social work, one just graduated in sports training, and others are still matriculating.
